Roulette 3.1: Erin Barbeau aka Cassy-Blue

Let's spin up a new season of Roulette by chatting with accomplished stock artist, writer, fencer, and scientist; Erin Barbeau (aka Cassy-Blue on deviantART and elsewhere). Listen in as we chat about stock photos, badass butterfly nets, beautiful bugs, bad movies, and plenty more. I had such a great time chatting with Erin; can’t wait until she sees Blade Runner so we can talk about that!

Roulette 2.2: Sarah 'Sakky' Forde aka SenshiStock

This time on Roulette I'm chatting with dear friend Sarah 'Sakky' Forde, known to many people around the globe as SenshiStock, and known to me as Sakky ATTACKY!!!

I wanted to take this opportunity to catch up with Sakky because right now she is in the midst of a Kickstarter campaign to help fund her new book of pose references, SenshiStock to Go! I'm a fan of the Kickstarter framework as a method for artists (even crazy Stock Artists) to help fund their projects, so I thought it would interesting to hear about Sakky's experiences thus far.

Aside from the Kickstarter campaign it's always great fun to chat with Sakky. This time out we'll hear about the Guild of Plushers, Ship Captain Steve and his Beard (or maybe that should be Steve and his Ship Captain Beard), and Sakky's new (and very controversial) business card.

Visit Sakky's pose reference site on dA, and then visit all her other wonderful sites (she really is an exceptional artist). Click below for this episode of Roulette:

Roulette 2.1: Chat with artist Kyle Ross, aka Null-Entity

Leading off this season's series of informal chats over  big cups of joe (and Kyle digs a good-sized coffee mug; you could wash a baby in that thing) is my conversation with Kyle Ross (aka Null-Entity); a multi-talented artist exploring photo-reference photography of all types, animation, paper-craft, cosplay, book binding, and (I'm sure) quite a few other things that we didn't have the chance to talk about.

Visit Kyle's site on dA to check out all the various projects he's been working on. Click the player below to hear this episode of Roulette:
